Baja Thanksgiving Trip

We spent all day Saturday AND Sunday packing up the Westy to head down to Baja Mexico for our annual Thanksgiving Trip. It was another STELLAR time, even though it was the coldest it's ever been. Some years it's hot... some VERY HOT.. and some times it's just darn chilly. It was mostly overcast all day and night with some breaks in the clouds to let the hot sun warm us up.


This was our first stop (El Rosario). We fill the vehicles up with gas and our tummies with some yummy authentic Mexican food.












Next we stop in Catavina for more gasolina and a pee break.















Obviously, these guys aren't great mechanics. Check out their truck!












One good thing, the Federales are young, very nice, and professional.















Shayna was such a trooper the ENTIRE trip!

Welcome, Little Joseph!

Here are my preggo sisters-in-law. Tamara, carrying the triplets on the left, & Mindy, carrying the singleton, on the right. On Friday, November 9th, Mindy delivered Joseph Oleesky at around 7:30 pm. We were celebrating my niece's, Annie, 8th birthday. We got in the car after the birthday festivities and ran over to the hospital to check on Josh & Mindy.

Monday Fun!

This morning, after some grocery shopping, Shayna and I decided to head on over to the Santa Ana Zoo. It was us and about 12 other people there today! It's so nice down here in SoCal during the so called, "off-season." We saw some Lemurs, pigs, goats, cows, chickens, turkeys, sheep, and one big, fake turtle that Shayna could not resist climbing on! She loves those turtles! We also took the train ride and I asked the Engineer if Shayna could ring the bell (she was too shy to ask), and he let her! That was the highlight of her day!


As a side note, we've been watching that show, "Ghost Hunters" on the Sci-Fi Channel Wednesday nights. It is AWESOME!!! Don't know why I like it so much... but this picture that Shayna took of me is really weird. No, I am not in front of a mirror... and it wouldn't matter anyways, because I don't have a flash on my camera phone... maybe that being is what Shayna's been seeing in her room.... C R E E P Y !

Weekend Birthday Party Success!

Shayna's birthday party went off without a hitch... but then again, there wasn't too much to go wrong. We had her birthday at her favorite place... Look What I Made. It's an awesome art studio for kids, here in the LBZ. Shayna had tons of fun with all of her friends and family.

Happy 3rd Birthday, My Love!

Today is Shayna's 3rd birthday! I can't believe that it's been 3 years since she joined our family! We had a blast today at My-Gym and then the Long Beach Aquarium of the Pacific. Here are some cool videos from today:
